AppCompactor 1.0

January 8th, 2009 · No Comments · PortableApps, Programming

Mostly bug fixes, however I also finally added icons and proper wizard graphics, thanks to Silk icons.

Download here.

Changelog:

  • Updated to the latest version of my Options class.
  • Fixed exception that occurred when clicking “Total”.
  • If you do not have permission to access a file you are trying to compact, AppCompactor will silently skip it.  Previously it would crash when trying to open the file.
  • Added an icon, and side/top images, courtesy of Silk icons.
  • Fix temp directory getting screwed up when running more than one instance of AppCompactor, usually causing a crash
  • Fix encoded portable paths ending up with silly environment variables (C:\123 > C:\%NUMBER_OF_PROCESSORS%23)
  • Holding shift when using the shell extension/command line causes it to not start compacting immediately, so you can add more folders and files.
  • Updated 7-zip to 4.64, and included more license stuff.
